Endorsements for the Wellness Inventory
"This pioneering program gives individuals personal
insight into 12 dimensions of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual
wellness, and provides tools to transform this new awareness into lasting
lifestyle change and a heightened sense of health and wellbeing. An invaluable
program for health professionals, clinics and hospitals, the Wellness Inventory
is a powerful tool for 21st century integrative medicine."

Executive Editor, Explore: The Journal of Science and Healing
"While most wellness assessments tell you that you're too fat, you should quit
smoking and get some exercise, Dr. Travis recognized from the beginning that
wellness is more than losing weight. One of the original wellness pioneers, he
understood over 35 years ago that the heart of wellness involves looking at
self-limiting behaviors in the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual areas
that underlie our lifestyle. It's hard to experience a higher level of wellness
if you don't fully embrace and enjoy your life. The Wellness Inventory is the
only online resource I know that assesses all aspects of the complex tapestry of
wellness and provides practical tools to create sustainable lifestyle change."
Dean Edell, M.D.
Bestselling author and host of nationally syndicated radio program, The Dean
Edell Show
"I've been familiar with the Wellness Inventory and the work of John Travis for
many years, and have found it to be enormously helpful. I've seen the Inventory
open up new understandings and stimulate creative therapeutic responses for
people with a wide range of clinical conditions. The Inventory also helps those
who are still well to develop strategies for feeling even better. I highly
recommend this program."
James S. Gordon, M.D.
Founder and Director, Center for Mind-Body Medicine, author of Manifesto for a
New Medicine: Your Guide to Healing Partnerships and the Wise Use of Alternative
Therapies
"As one of the first people to computerize the Health Risk Appraisal, Dr. Travis
saw its limitations early on and developed the Wellness Inventory to extend into
the all important quality of life issues. For over 25 years, he has continued to
keep it at the forefront of wellness."

"The Wellness Inventory is the fundamental component to our hospital's 7-Step
Health and Wellness program. Dr. John Travis’ 12 key dimensions of wellness
create a holistic foundation from which our clients not only explore the
physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual issues of life, but more importantly
discover ways in which to become responsible for their own health."
Patricia A. Duryea, Ph.D.

part of every coach's tool box."

your client's progress and making the coaching experience fun and interactive.
It works well for clients that you see in-person, and those you coach at a
distance. In addition, it provides opportunity for an additional revenue stream
for coaching and trainers from various specialties."
Dr. John Spencer Ellis

NESTA - National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association
"Clients are proactively looking for life, health and beauty enhancement
strategies. Wellness is no longer a spa trend it is a strategic imperative. The
Wellness Inventory is a 21st century tool which helps clients transform valuable
insight into results oriented action. The Wellness Inventory is a non-negotiable
for any spa looking to develop deeper guest engagement and brand loyalty."

"The Wellness Inventory pushes beyond health risk appraisals to the wellness
dimension of the illness-wellness continuum. This self-assessment tool offers
new insights into what makes life worth living, and loving, and breathing.
Medical care will never bring you to the brink of joyfulness, zest for life, and
treating the environment responsibly. The Wellness Inventory puts the health
back into health care."
Kent W. Peterson, MD, FACPM

"The Wellness Inventory is a refreshing approach after years of "strictly by the
numbers" Health Risk Appraisals that tell you how old you ought to be or why you
are not already dead.
Intuitive in its approach, the Wellness Inventory results seem to have a knack
for describing the strengths and weaknesses of the participant in a way that is
both informative and educational. Linked with the Wellness Workbook, the
Wellness Inventory provides a valuable tool for better living."
